Nami Island, located 63 km away from Seoul, is half moon shaped isle, and on it is the grave of General Nami, who led a great victory against the rebels in the 13th year of the 7th king of the Joseon Dynasty, King Sejo. It is famous for its beautiful tree lined roads. Nami Island is not only known as the filming spot of “Winter Sonata”, but also a cultural center for creative ideas of local artists. Nami Island plays host to a variety of cultural events, concerts, and exhibitions throughout the year. It is a popular get-away for couples, friends and family from the bustling city. You can reach the island by a ferry or zip wire.
One of the nearest ski resorts from Seoul. If you take Gyeongchun Line of Seoul Subway or ITX Cheongchun High Speed Train, you can reach the snowfields of the resort within one hour.

Elysian Gangchon, with a total area of 203,740 square meters, features eight of the ten slopes in total for
beginners or intermediates (2 for beginners, 1 for pre-intermediates, 5 for intermediates, 2 for the advanced). It has lower level of slope difficulty compared to that other ski resorts so that more people can enjoy the excitement of skiing comfortably.
