The third tunnel was discovered in 1978.
10,000 soldiers are allowed to move in an hour as a tunnel for North Korea to attack South Korea.
It is the northernmost observatory in South Korea. Through the telescope, visitors can see statues of Kim Il-sung in Kaesong, the Kaesong Industrial Complex, Songaksan Mountain, the village of Gijeong-dong, a propaganda village in North Korea, the outskirts of Kaesong City, Jangdan Station, train wreaths and Geumamgol cooperative farms.
It is the northernmost station in South Korea. The next station is JangDan Station in North Korea.
